What is Energy Healing

Energy healing is a complementary practice based on the belief that we are more than our physical bodies. It recognizes an energy field that may be influenced by stress, emotions, and the experiences we carry.

People use different words to describe this field, including the aura, biofield, or simply the energy field. These terms come from spiritual and complementary healing traditions. In my practice, I use the term energy field.

People often seek energy healing when they feel heavy, depleted, unsettled, or unlike themselves. The purpose of a session is to identify areas that appear blocked or out of balance and offer gentle energetic support.

In my work, I primarily use therapeutic pendulums and the frequencies of White Light and Gold Light. Depending on your needs, I may also incorporate Reiki, tuning forks, crystals, or other supportive modalities.

Energy healing is not about forcing change or controlling how you respond. I approach each session with care and allow the work to unfold at its own pace.

Understanding Energy Anatomy & Polarity

In the system of energy anatomy I studied, the human energy field is understood as having several interconnected layers. Each layer relates to a different part of our experience:

  • Physical Body — physical structure, health, and function
  • Emotional Body — feelings and emotional experiences
  • Mental Body — thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of perception
  • Higher Consciousness Body — intuition, insight, and inner wisdom
  • Transcending Energy Body — personal transformation and deeper healing
  • Spiritual Awakening Body — spiritual connection and awareness
  • Universal Energy Body — unity, divine connection, and unconditional love

This is an energetic and spiritual framework rather than a conventional medical description of anatomy. I use it to help organize how I assess and work with the different areas of a person’s energy field.

Therapeutic pendulum healing may work across these layers by identifying energy that appears blocked, depleted, overactive, or stagnant and supporting a more balanced flow.

Polarity refers to the direction and balance of energy movement within the field. When I assess polarity, I look for areas where the energy appears disrupted or is not moving evenly. I then use therapeutic pendulums to support greater balance and movement in those areas.

Science, Spirit & What We Do Not Yet Understand

Science continues to explore the relationships among the mind, body, consciousness, spirituality, and well-being. Practices such as meditation and prayer, once discussed primarily in spiritual terms, are now also being studied for the ways they may affect human experience and health.

At the same time, there is still much we do not understand about consciousness, intention, energy healing, and human connection. I believe there may be aspects of our experience that we do not yet know how to measure or fully explain. I also believe it is important not to present spiritual beliefs as established scientific facts.

My understanding of energy healing comes from spiritual traditions, my training, personal experience, and what I have observed through my work. I remain open to what future research may discover while respecting the limits of what science has established today.

For me, science and spirituality do not have to compete. Both can encourage us to remain curious about ourselves, our experiences, and the world around us.

The Roots of Therapeutic Pendulum Healing

Therapeutic pendulum work comes from a tradition known as radiesthesia, meaning sensitivity to radiations. In his 1935 book, Principles and Practice of Radiesthesia, Abbé Alexis Mermet documented the use of pendulums in dowsing, distant work, and biological radiesthesia. The English translation was published in 1959. In a 2014 lecture titled Radiesthesia: The Ancient Science of Vibrational Physics, Dr. Dominique Surel traced the tradition to ancient China, Europe, and Egypt.

Within radiesthesia, the human body is understood as being sensitive to subtle frequencies, while the pendulum is used to detect and work with them. Although these ideas have not been established by conventional science, they are an important part of the history and teachings behind therapeutic pendulum practice. My own work builds upon this tradition through specially designed pendulums and the energetic methods in which I have been trained.

Therapeutic Pendulums: Beyond Divination

In my work, I use therapeutic pendulums as healing tools, not simply as tools for receiving answers.

Therapeutic pendulums may be made from brass, aluminum, or wood. Many are designed according to sacred geometry and are associated with specific frequencies. During a session, I use different pendulums to assess the energy field, identify areas that may need attention, clear unwanted energy, and direct supportive frequencies where needed.

The two primary healing frequencies I work with are:

White Light – used for cleansing and balancing the energy system

Gold Light – used for deeper energetic work and spiritual support

Each therapeutic pendulum has a particular purpose. I select the pendulum according to the work being done and what your energy appears ready to receive.
